MPU-9150包含InvenSense的運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)融合演算(MotionFusion)與運(yùn)行校正韌件(run-time calibration firmware),可讓采用運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)功能之產(chǎn)品的制造商,省去挑選、檢測(cè)、在系統(tǒng)階段整合各別組件時(shí)所須的費(fèi)用與麻煩,并保證其感測(cè)組件融合算法(sensor fusion algorithms)與校正程序(calibration procedures),能提供消費(fèi)者最佳性能(optimal performance)。

MPU-9150為系統(tǒng)級(jí)封裝(SiP:System in Package)產(chǎn)品,整合了兩個(gè)芯片:一為MPU-6050,含三軸陀螺儀、三軸加速器,內(nèi)建可處理復(fù)雜之九軸運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)融合算法的數(shù)字運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)處理器(DMP:Digital Motion Processor);另一為AK8975,是三軸數(shù)字電子羅盤。MPU-9150所含之九軸運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)融合算法,可連接所有內(nèi)部的傳感器,收集整組感測(cè)數(shù)據(jù)。此產(chǎn)品為4x4x1mm的LGA包裝,為MPU-6050整合性六軸運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)追蹤組件的兼容升級(jí)版,提供簡(jiǎn)單的升級(jí)路徑,易于安裝在空間受限的板子上。
伴隨于MPU-9150的InvenSense運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)應(yīng)用(MotionApps)平臺(tái),排除了采用運(yùn)動(dòng)感測(cè)之產(chǎn)品的復(fù)雜度(motion-based complexities),降低了運(yùn)作系統(tǒng)在管理傳感器時(shí)的負(fù)荷,并為應(yīng)用開(kāi)發(fā)提供結(jié)構(gòu)化的一套APIs。
為了精準(zhǔn)追蹤快速與慢速的動(dòng)作(motions),此產(chǎn)品內(nèi)含之陀螺儀的可程控(user-programmable)全格感測(cè)范圍(full-scale range)為±250、±500、±1000、±2000°/sec (dps),加速器的可程控全格感測(cè)范圍為±2g、±4g、±8g、±16g,電子羅盤的全格感測(cè)范圍為±1200μT。
